Invites & Collaboration

Share full workspaces or single projects with clear role control.

Use workspace invites for broad team access and project invites for scoped collaboration. This guide covers how acceptance works and how to choose the right invite type.

1) Invite types

If your plan supports invites (Freelance and above), you can send invites. Any invited user can receive an invite.

  • Workspace invite: sent from Team page. Grants access to the entire workspace and all current and future projects.
  • Project invite: sent from Projects page. Grants access to one project only.

2) Acceptance flow

  • Invited users receive an email at the invited address.
  • Users must click the invite email link to authenticate and accept.
  • Access appears after successful sign-in with the same invited email.

3) What users see

  • Projects page shows Your projects and Shared with you.
  • Team page separates Workspace members and Project collaborators.
  • Pending invites are shown in-app with a reminder to check email.

4) Roles

  • Workspace roles (`admin` / `user`) apply account-wide.
  • Project collaborator roles (`admin` / `user`) apply only to the shared project.
  • Workspace and project roles can be updated later from Team page controls.

5) Uses for invites

  • Give developers access to your schema to help guide setup.
  • Set up the model and hand off to team members to add or update data.
  • Share one project with an external collaborator without exposing the full workspace.
  • Run client review cycles on one endpoint while your internal workspace stays private.

6) Troubleshooting

  • If access does not appear, confirm the user clicked the invite email and signed in with the same invited email address.
  • Workspace invite users will see new projects automatically. Project invite users see only explicitly shared projects.
